President since January 2007, Hélène Brisebois began her career at SDK in 1987 as a design engineer, and then as a project leader. While completing numerous major projects, Hélène Brisebois quickly became an SDK shareholder in 1989, and then a main associate, taking over various company management responsibilities, such as quality assurance and staff management.
Exceptionally analytical, passionate, visionary, and a natural leader, Hélène Brisebois is recognized by her peers for her numerous and prestigious accomplishments, including more than fifteen university buildings. Many of her technical achievements have received awards of excellence.
She is actively involved within several organizations including la Fondation de Polytechnique Montréal, the Cabinet of the University of Montreal’s Grande Campagne, and the organization Dans la rue.
After earning her degree in civil engineering from Polytechnique Montréal in 1987, she obtained a Diplôme d’Études supérieures en sciences administratives from HEC Montréal in 1993, and then took a training course in quality management at Polytechnique Montréal in 1996. She completed her university certification in gouvernance de société from Université Laval in 2017.
In 2011, she received an accolade of recognition from the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec for her exceptional contribution, as well as an honorary degree from the University of Montreal in 2014.
