Pierre-Olivier Gingras joined the SDK team in 2010 and is now an associate in the firm. He started his career first as a site supervisor and he quickly evolved into a structural engineer-designer. The experience acquired on construction sites gives him an excellent practical sense to solve various technical challenges that come his way. His active listening and participative communication with each client, professional and member of his team, make him a partner of choice.
With his experience in site services, he becomes an engineer-designer with a solid ability to analyze and solve problems. Always looking for creative and optimal solutions, he uses his ability to adapt and his speed of execution to intervene in unconventional situations. His expertise is aimed at carrying out institutional, commercial, municipal and industrial mandates, both for new construction projects and for expansions. It stands out for its know-how in seismic rehabilitation and reinforcement of existing structures.
In 2010, he obtained his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at Polytechnique Montréal. Endowed with a practical sense and an innovative approach, he is stimulated by projects involving significant execution challenges. In addition to his engineering knowledge, he develops his management and mentoring skills with the teams under his responsibility.
